Mark Ariba

I am a doctoral student in the department of political science at the University of Toronto. I specialise in Political Theory and Public Policy. I am also a Junior Fellow at Massey College.

My research broadly focuses on meritocracy’s existence as a social organising system in liberal democracies. Specifically, I explore the origins , accession, and consolidation of meritocracy in the post war period in liberal democracies.

Before joining the University of Toronto, I completed a M.A in Political science at the University of Guelph and a Bachelor Of Social Science at the University of Ottawa
